Sapphire Consulting Services is seeking a JAVA developer in Karachi, Pakistan that can transform the business requirements into technical requirements, architect a solution and see through the complete development, testing and deployment cycles. The candidate will co-ordinate with the team and other concerned personnel from the beginning of the job, till its completion.

Position Responsibilities:

• Familiar with SQL scripts, PL/SQL and have working experience of Oracle, SQL Server and mySQL databases.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, _JavaScript.
• Tomcat and IIS web-servers, experience of Application Servers like web sphere, web logic and jboss will be preferred.
• Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong OOP concepts and familiarity with SDLC.

Qualifications:

• The candidate should at least possess a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related discipline from a recognized university.
• with at least 1+ year hands on experience in software development using the following technologies:
  • Struts
  • Hibernate
  • JSP
  • Servlets
  • JSF
  • JDBC
  • EJB
