Requirements/Qualifications

• Solid wireless handset experience with J2ME, BREW, Symbian, etc. It would be a plus if the candidate has working experience with mobile consumer-specific client/server architectures as opposed to business/enterprise architectures
• Must have good skills in C/C++ and Java
• Strong understanding of object-oriented and software engineering concepts
• Good experience in working with network protocols including but not limited to, TCP/IP, UDP, broadcast and multi-cast, HTTP, Sockets as well as web-related integration and languages/formats such as XHTML, PHP, script languages such as Python, Perl, etc., from both client and server perspectives
• 2+ years production experience in related fields (games, data streaming, and/or wireless)
• 1+ years wireless handset development (J2ME, BREW, Symbian, etc.)
• Solid understanding of software development and internet technologies
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong writing skills, including ability to write functional specifications
• Strong organizational skills, deadline oriented
• Technical and operational knowledge of wireless a plus.
• MS is preferred in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Mathematics; BS or equivalent required.
