Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include coordination with IT head, end users and software vendors to analyze functional requirements for online stock trading system, web site / database applications; construct and deploy applications using Oracle technology. Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of systems development life cycle, configuration management, structured analysis and design techniques. Candidate must understand the impact, risks, implications and costs of recommendations. Assist with projects and on-call as required.
Following role will further clear the position.
• Good knowledge of Oracle10g database
• Hands on Experience of SAN and its Management
• Strong concept of Backup Recovery and Performance Tuning of Oracle database
• Working knowledge on Linux operating system and Shell scripting
• Oracle 10g RAC Grid Services and Clustering on Linux Platform will be an advantage
• Application development using Oracle forms and Java based will be preferred.
• Ensures smooth running of websites, databases and other applications resources in the company.
• Independently audit software development infra-structure, database performance, security and report to IT head.
• Follow up with software development vendor for the approved changes and maintain the audit report all the times.
• Ensure that all analysis and designs are properly documented.
• Provide end user technical support
• Monitor software vendor progress and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare and maintain schedules for all relevant design efforts and ensure that designs are delivered on schedule.
• Provide guidelines in order to implement BS7799/ISO17799/ISO27001 standards.

Individual Specifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer sciences (Master degree preferred) and 2 to 3 years of working experience preferably after graduation.
• Oracle Certified Developer would be an added value.
• Working experience with real-time operating systems.
• Thorough understanding of Oracle RDBMS concepts and development toolkit.
• Expert Knowledge on Data Manipulation Language (DML) and Data Dictionary Language (DDL) for database objects; objects such as tables, indexes, procedures, functions, packages and triggers.
• Good understanding about scripting.
• Age between 24yrs - 30 yrs would be desirable
• Ability to work independently as well as a team member.
• Brokerage industry experience would be an added value.
