Database Administrator

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Upkeep and maintenance of back-end database solution and related overall systems
• Monitor, maintain, and administer information security on database systems in the area of responsibility
• Oracle RAC installation, Performance tuning and administration.
• Technical problem ownership of all systems related problems
• Backup / restoration and disaster recovery capability administration
• Capacity and growth control of systems and database.
• Maintain problem log, reporting and related documentation.
• Related vendors and client coordination
• Technical Documentation

Skills

• 3-5 years of post-graduation experience in RDBMS (Oracle)
• 1+ years of direct in-depth hands-on experience with Oracle 9i installation on Linux platform with database optimization, performance tuning, and access control
• Proficiency with Oracle development and programming tools and utilities
• Proficiency in use of office automation systems
• Preferably OCP (DBA)

Education: Minimum BS / BE (4-year program)
Career Level : Mid Career (Over 2 years experience)
