  • Experience of cross platform c development
  • Experience of multithreaded applications & services
  • SQL and relational database design
  • Experience in both Windows and Linux, with Solaris and AIX an advantage.
  • Awareness of the key protocols used in email applications (POP, IMAP, SMTP etc)
  • Experience of TLS/SSL
  • Awareness of the principal RFCs relating to email services
