• Ongoing training of Marcel Media staff
• Ongoing building out of internal processes
• Ongoing training to ensure highest level of understanding and capability
• Monitoring SEO and online marketing blogs for changes and new happenings in the search industry
• Conducting keyword research
• Performing competitive analysis
• Client Discussions

• Analysis and reporting

Key Requirements:

• Enthusiastic/energetic and ready to make a difference while viewing opportunity as long term commitment
• Self motivated with ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Ability to solve problems and learn quickly
• Minimum 2-4 years experience as an SEO Specialist or SEO Engineer
• Experience with Social Media Marketing, specifically how it pertains to SEO
• Passion for SEO, where it is, and where it is going
• At least a moderate understanding of technology and marketing

Important but not required:

• 2-3 years in PHP/mySQL
• Understanding of Apache server environment and administration
• Knowledge of AJAX techniques
• Knowledge of JavaScript
