OPPORTUNITY

It cannot be stressed enough that these will extremely high profile flagship projects with millions of visitors anticipated. Successful execution on these project will guarantee you star status. This is a version 1.0 project so you don’t have to deal with old legacy code. Instead you will have the opportunity to lead the project and established best development practices. As such you are also expected to be fanatical about writing good, clean code and having an appreciation for details.

As the project picks up, you will be expected to lead the project and claim responsibility for it’s success and good execution.

You will also have the opportunity to learn best practices from experienced developers from the Silicon Valley area. We intend to have agile development practices, version control, build processes, bug tracking, usability testing and the like.

REQUIREMENTS

- 3 or more years of experience with PHP5
- Strong understanding of OOP (Object Oriented Programming) preferred and drive to write
clean, manageable code
- Strong grasp of W3C standard (HTML and CSS)
- Strong grasp of JavaScript and atleast one library (jQuery, Prototype or Mootools)
- Strong Knowledge of cross-browser development concerns
- Experience with DB design and optimized SQL queries (MySQL preferred)
- Fanatical about attention to detail
- Good understanding of AJAX and Web 2.0 development
