Customer Support Engineer

DeviceAnywhere is looking for an intelligent professional, who is highly motivated and extremely organized to join our Customer Support Staff in our Development Center in Karachi, Pakistan. Ability to analytically resolve product inquiries, devise practical solutions & discover defect “work-arounds” are core traits for this position. This person will be expected to build upon the current support process for responding to customer incidents, by adding process steps, documentation, and automation.
Responsibilities:
- Log, research and resolve inquiries placed to Customer Support, ensuring a high level of service & customer satisfaction
- Complete all communications with customers via email and phone
- Initiate escalation as appropriate
- Support team members in resolving issues through technical research
- Report unreliability in product design, maintenance issues, defects and bugs
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science
- Understanding of customer support processes
- Dependable and reliable with customer follow up
- Ability to manage customer expectation and to deal effectively with customer, peers and management
- Ability to prioritize, be flexible, perform responsibilities and work well in a fast paced environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be fluent in English
- Basic knowledge of Mobile Technology
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- 1+ years experience in Technical Customer Support / Call Center
- 1+ years experience in the computer software industry
