An EU based company requires a .NET Applications Expert. The job details for this job opening are given below. The candidate can be located anywhere in Pakistan and will be required to work from home on the assigned projects.

Expected competences

•    .Net framework 2 and 3.5 – including C# and VB.Net

•    Visual Studio 2005 and 2008

•    Exceptional good skills and competencies in working with XML documents, XSD Schemas, XSLT trans-formation (weighs very high)

•    Very good skills in SQL server 2000 and 2005

The contents of above mentioned competencies are to be used in windows application as well as web applications. Therefore essential with knowledge and have worked with:

•    HTML

•    XHTML

•    Cascading style sheet (CSS)

•    IIS 6.0/ possibly 7.0

•    HTTP protocol

•    Master pages, placeholders, web controls, web forms

Favorable but not mandatory competences

•    Web design

Other skills and competences

•    Knowledge and work with Visual Source save 2005, favorable if also experience with Team System 2008 source control

•    Necessary knowledge about VPN (virtual private network) and working remotely and/or via virtual machines.

•    Knowledge and adapted principles of Object Oriented Analysis, Design and programming (OOA, OOD and OOP).

•    Works structured and has great sense of responsibly

•    Task description is a must and any work done must be described and approved before any proceeding.

•    Ongoing documentation through all phases of a task.
