Essential Job Functions:
- Plans, coordinates, and directs quality assurance program designed to ensure quality production of
products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties personally or through
subordinate supervisors.
- The SQA Manager will be required to travel to the United States of America.
- Responsible for client liaison and management.
- Prepare testing plans, procedures and detailed test documents.
- Overall executive responsibilities for team progress and coordination.
- Recommend completion / otherwise for the product for acceptance at the completion of the test phase.
- Assess product quality at various stages of the SDLC and test and approve the final product as
specified in the test plan, test cases and acceptance criterion.
- Representative of management for audits.
Skills Required:
- Ability to supervise a number of professionals from varying backgrounds and disciplines.
- Leadership/Coordination Role.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Superior knowledge of all defect tracking tools, QA tools, Optimization techniques and new trends in
quality assurance.
- Good working knowledge of software applications (web-based and otherwise).
- Sound understanding and clear concepts of software development, software quality, testing, and
software development processes.
- Ability to conduct conference calls and coordinate efforts with offshore teams will be critical to the
selection of this candidate.
- Hands on experience of quality methodologies such as ISO, CMMI
