Essential Job Functions:
Key to your role as HTML CSS Developer will be your advanced HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML skills. You’ll also have a keen design eye, with creative visual ideas, and a good understanding of Adobe software products. You will also need to be familiar with building sites to W3C standards and will have a basic understanding of .NET, AJAX and JavaScript. Also Good Understanding of new web standards, web 2.0 technology, and able to work with different browsers.
You must be highly creative, passionate about new technology, keen to learn, and quick to pick new skills up. You will be responsible for working on projects sometimes from pitch stage right through to completion. Working closely with the creative director on all briefs, you will also be expected to communicate directly with clients and attend design presentation meetings.
You’ll assist with design concepts, presenting them to the client and then subsequently building the physical sites ready for any programming and coding to be added, whilst being supported by other team members for multimedia/Flash and programming elements. Skills Required:
- - XHTML and CSS for both styling and layout
- JavaScript, DOM
- Accessibility issues and W3C guidelines
- Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Some server-side scripting experience (e.g ASP / PHP / mySQL / ASP.NET)
- Good QA skill and can deploy website on server.
