Provision of HR SAP consulting services to new and existing clients via new implementations/service work and support

Job Responsibilities

  • Financial Commitment
    • Provide profitable costing when scoping new business or new projects
    • Commit to and deliver timely reporting, forecasting, and expenses
    • Maximise billable hours on/across projects
  • Functional Commitment
    • In-depth knowledge of the functionality contained within X10.HR/Payroll Express and other packaged offerings.
    • Demonstration of initiative via continuous improvement to all packaged offerings, including provision of suggestions for packaged offerings to identified opportunities.
    • Systems implementations in accordance with the contract requirements and the quality requirements of the project methodology.
  • Customer Commitment
    • Achieve high level of customer satisfaction through professional business relationships and providing valued services
    • Provide customers (internal and on occasion, external) with solutions that meet their needs, within Extend’s delivery capability
    • Identification of customer engagement opportunities which can be Provision of support to existing clients
    • Support to clients via Helpdesk or direct on site support as required

    • Manage various pahses of projects including requirements analysis, system design, specification, development, testing and implementation
    • Provide adequate documentation relating to design, implementation, testing and performance
    • Through leadership and drive, promote the Extend culture which results in both staff and customer satisfaction
    • Liaise with management, technical representatives, suppliers and customers in the direction, planning and review of quality assurance, quality control and certification
    • Commitment to continuous improvement of quality processes and procedures

Qualifications & Certifications

  • SAP training certification
  • IT related tertiary qualifications
  • HR/Payroll qualifications

Critical Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Thorough understanding of core functionality within mySAP ERP
  • SAP HR configuration expertise across PA, PY (Australia), and all other HCM submodules
  • Implementation experience (at least 5 implementations)
  • Some HR or Payroll business related experience
  • Ability to meet tight schedules and cost targets without compromising business requirements
  • Experienced in troubleshooting of system or process problems as well as configuration, development and implementation of new functionality as required.
  • Experienced in documentation of project specifications, findings, technical solutions and test results
  • Support experience
  • MS office skills, including familiarity with MS Project
  • Customer service experience i.e. the ability to effectively provide professional services in a client facing context
  • Familiarity with SAP resources such as online help documentation, SAP help desk and SAP service marketplace, logging of OSS issues, etc.
  • Familiarity with process of applying HR Support Packs, in terms of supporting customers with same.

Desirable Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • SAP HR configuration experience across OM, PD, EH&S, ESS/MSS and Portals for HR, BW for HR
  • ABAP familiarity
  • End user training experience
  • Team Leading experience
