Team Leader/ Senior Software Engineer (LAMP)

We are looking for a skilled and professionals for both Karachi and Lahore office, who have experience in PHP / MySQL website development. Applicants must have development experience in LAMP (Linux + Apache + MySQL + PHP), Experience with web application development (facebook, widgets etc). He should have some experience in AJAX , HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript alongwith MySQL Database design/development skills.

Responsibilities:

• Project and Team management;
• Holds the bottom-line for delivery of project commitments to the client;
• Planning, Estimation, Scheduling, Tracking and Reporting project progress;
• Scoping, Requirements Gathering and Analysis, Application Architecture, Application Design;
• Responsible for Estimation for projects;
• Responsible for Team Building , Reviewing the project deliverables, Coaching and Mentoring, and performance appraisal of the team members;
• Responsible for resolution of conflicts with in the project or between cross-functional teams.
• Responsible for end client communication.
• Ability to modify/debug/deploy PHP applications
• E-Commerce website development/integration, shopping cart and payment gateways

Eligibility Criteria:

• A BE/B.Tech/MCS Degree from a reputed institute;
• 3+ years of experience in software industry;
• Strong verbal, written communication skills;
• Self driven and good leadership skills;
• Should have pleasant attitude and good aptitude;
• In depth experience in a variety of technologies including web based technologies like PHP & Perl. PHP My Sql, Apache Linux (LAMP)
• Exposure to architecture frameworks and design patterns is preferred
• Good interpersonal skills;
• Domain knowledge preferred
• Designing skills in Photoshop, Flash and Dream weaver will be a plus
• Experience of Open Source Technologies will be a plus

Senior Graphics and Web Designer:
Salsot Technologies is looking for a web designer with solid skills in graphic design, and an excellent eye for typography, clean layout, purposeful color and refined style. You must have a deep appreciation for simple, sleek and usable web interfaces.

You will be responsible for all stages of design of various customer web-based products. We need a strategic thinker who while executing with great attention to detail also knows the most effective ways to design.

The person should have extensive experience in designing corporate & brochureware websites and e-commerce or electronic store websites using Photoshop. The person should be a designer first and an HTML person later should be an expert in Photoshop and CorelDraw. Experience in Print designing desired. Ideal candidate for this position possesses a solid understanding of user-centered design principles, absolute comfort working with HTML and CSS, excellent visual

design skills, great technical know-how and proven expertise in designing for the Web.

Responsibilities:

• Creating web images and digital illustrations.
• Creating graphical User Interface elements.
• Manipulating pixel-level details.
• Optimizing images.
• Designing clean, effective web pages.
• Develop prototype in Photoshop or other static prototyping tools.
• Develop prototype in Flash or other dynamic prototyping tools.
• Responding to a variety of web and graphics related requests.
• Fulfilling several project requests simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of Graphic Design, Information Design, or other visual arts.
• Minimum of 3+ years experience designing outstanding websites.
• Solid background and knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Flash and should use them like a pro.
• Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS.
• Ability to act as a leader in communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale, all within a user-centered design process.
• Must be able to work and communicate effectively in a cross-functional product development team, and present ideas and designs effectively.
• Must be self-motivated to prioritize and manage work load, and meet critical project milestones and deadlines.
• Must be an effective problem solver. Comes up with creative solutions and considers many alternative solutions to each problem.
• Must be able to cope well in an ambiguous environment.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships.
• Online portfolio of work required.
