Web Designer / PHP Developer - Karachi Only
Knowledge:
- Formalizing started processes procedures explicit checkpoints to optimize efficiency effectiveness.
- The Web Designer must have a practical sense of design. Designs must have an emphasis on usability and communicating marketing messages. The Web Designer must also be able to implement their designs and do front end web development.
- Working knowledge of (PHP, JAVA Scripts, CGi, HTML, AJAX, mySQL / SQL Server 2000/2005, Win2000/2003 Server, Linux.)
- Designing corporate websites with ecommerce functionality.
- Design, build, and modify web-based application.
- Should have experience in uploading/downloading web sites on ISP servers and familiarization with 3 Tier Architecture of systems management (Application Server/Web server & Database Servers)
- Own all graphic design responsibilities for products and marketing.
- Content management : Experience required in database management including uploading web content/data/data conversions from one platform to another and from one format to another for migration.
- Design and conduct focus groups for improving usability and user-experience for Worldwide Group.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Dreamweaver (must be able to write HTML code easily without a WYSIWYG editor) and CSS is required.
- Proficiency in web graphics creation using a program like Photoshop/ Flash is a must. Skills in other web programming languages are also a plus.
- Specific online examples of previous work will be required.
- Ability to `make things happen’
- Good team worker with strong team player attitude
- A Computer Science Degree from a well known Institution. And at least One Year Experience
Should have good personality, be responsive in communications, well spoken and have a good common sense to make decisions.
