Business Analyst - Karachi
We are U.S Based MS Gold Certified Partner & ISO Certified Software firm. We are looking for Business Analyst on permanent basis in Karachi office.
Job Description
This is the role of the person who leads and coordinates new and old software requirements, software change requests and bugs/issues in existing applications and system specification with the help of Project Manager and Client by outlining the system’s functionality and delimiting the system; for example, identifying what actors exist and what use cases they will require when interacting with the system
Responsibilities
- Identifying and understanding new software requirements, change requests and bugs/issues discussed with Client and Project Manager.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members.
- Generate related documents
- Vision document using Requisite Pro
- Software Requirements Specification using Requisite Pro
- Use Case Specification document using Requisite Pro
- Glossary document using Requisite Pro
- Release Notes
- Communicate with the client and project manager to get requirements identified, analyzed and prioritized.
- Communicate with the client and project manager to identify the scope of project or iteration.
- Hold meetings with Project Manager, System Architect and Tech Lead to track problems and issues related to requirements and report on the expected completion of those requirements.
- Analyze Impact of new requirements and software change requests and have a discussion with Project manager/System Architect/Tech Lead or the complete team.
- Work with Programmers and Web Designer to develop mockups for final approval of requirements.
- Help in setting deadline for the project
Job Specification
- Excellent written/oral communication skills and listening skills
- Full systems development life cycle experience
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Visio
- Solid knowledge of project/portfolio management techniques and Microsoft Project
- Knowledge of US and/or International Settlements processing highly desired
- Working knowledge of modern systems architectures and software development techniques (structured analysis/design etc.)
- Candidate should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Candidate should have flexibility to adapt as the project evolves
- Familiarity with workflow optimization or business process reengineering techniques
- 2+ Years of Hands on Experience on above mentioned skills
- BCS/BS in Computer Sciences, B.E in Computer Engineering-MCS/MS in Computer Sciences will be
