Job Description:

• Development of static demos for clients
• Conversion of static demos to dynamic elements
• Development of static elements for websites
• Design and implement creative designs and graphics using HTML and CSS.
• Experience optimizing images for web user interface and creating HTML/CSS that matches a Photoshop
• Design layout and understanding how mock ups translate to code.
• Aiding the relevant Web Designer to program dynamic Web Sites using ASP, PHP, ASP.NET, CF or any other scripting languages
• Work with existing staff to build mock ups and prototypes, establish and create style guidelines and style guide documents as project deliverables.
• Work with external vendors to collaborate on creative web designs.
• Asset Library formation and management including maintenance of templates and image archives.
• Produce a consistent visual image across our web sites.
• Communication with peers and management.
• Positive contributor to team environments.
• Support of production systems.
• A strong interest in technology and the ability to keep up with the latest trends and the concepts behind these trends.

Skills Required

• 2+ years of professional Flash development
• Knowledge of databases and content management tools
• Experience in Web based back-end programming and integration (PHP, JSP, ASP) is also big plus
• Experience with ActionScript 3, Flex, and MXML
• Familiarity with the Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) and Learning Object Metadata (LOM) are preferred
• A working knowledge of presentation software and video editing/encoding experience is a plus

Requirments

• Strong JAVA/J2EE skills;
• Experience with object oriented development using UML;
• Strong knowledge in Java, EJB, RMI, JDBC, JNDI, JSP, Servlets, XML, HTML.
• 4 years of working experience with Struts or some other framework to implement J2EE based web application.
• Good understanding of Open Source technologies like Ant, Log4J, JUnit etc
• Database experience with SQL server;
• Knowledge of design patterns such as Factory, Singleton, etc.;
• Strong knowledge of XML, XSL and other internet technologies a must;
• Experience using Rational Software Architect is preferred;
• Excellent oral & written communication Must
