Job Description
The Software Configuration Manager is responsible for technical direction, administrative processes and management governing identification, change control, status accounting and auditing of systems or software and their constituent components archives.

Responsibilities

• Build software applications (compile code)
• Write scripts (code assembly, administrative, deployment, etc.)
• Develop features and enhancements in the source control tools and the SCM process
• Maintain performance integrity of code across multiple, ,customer-preferred, vendor-specific environments
• Establish Configuration Management Policies & procedures with the help of Project Manager, and Process Department
• Provide specialized training to office staff for Information Technology applications such as on databases, tools, techniques and tasks related to configuration management
• Understand code dependencies and daily build variations (I.e. a code fix may break the daily build by causing another portion of the code to malfunction)
• Deployment of code to various development and testing environments
• Troubleshoot broken builds and malfunctioning environments
• Proof read/audit code
• Control and manage code (source, ,binaries, environment configuration files, etc.)
• Administer and maintain the change management processes required to manage code effectively (I.e. maintain version labels; update SCRs in PVCS Tracker, etc.)
• PVCS Tracker Administration.
• VSS Administration.
• Project¢s Intranet Site Administration

Job Specification

• Requires knowledge of the incremental software development life cycle
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of ISO and CMMI Level 5 is a plus.
• Programming skills in C#, ASP.NET ADO.Net, ADO, Classic ASP, HTML, JavaScript/ VBScript
• Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, and Programming (OOA, OOD and OOP)
• Database Programming (Stored Procedures, PL-SQL/T-SQL) with MS SQL Server 2000 or later
• Analytical Skills with Good level of Communication and Presentation Skills
• 2+ Years of Hands on Experience on above mentioned skills
• BCS/BS in Computer Sciences, B.E in Computer Engineering-MCS/MS in Computer Sciences will be preferred
• MS Certification will be plus

Job Description

Supports project teams with regard to process planning and execution, quality assurance and configuration management and etc

Responsibilities

• Creation and maintenance of project process documentation;
• Contribute to Software development process by helping, training and supporting employee to do their job in accordance to the defined processes.
• Will typically support multiple projects concurrently.
• Develop, document, implement and sustain processes.
• Improve, yield, efficiency and capacity of processes in accordance with strategic objectives.
• Assist Process Manager to specify, evaluate, recommend, and conduct acceptance tests on processes.
• Research, identify, recommend, receive approval and implement tools that help implement processes.
• Install, configure and maintain tools related to processes.
• Audit the effective use of the process throughout the organization.
• Reporting the advantages, disadvantages, complaints and improvements in the processes to process team.
• Analysis and Design of processes.
• Initiate and participate in technical discussion, technical review etc.
• Maintaining the organizational portal relating to the standards and processes
• Research on next step quality management system & take initiative to implement it such as ISO, CMMI, and Six Sigma.
• Help Project Manager in making decision related to different areas of software development process on request of Project Manager.
• Help Project Manager to improve the quality of deliverables

Job Specification

• Six Sigma, ISO experience strongly preferred
• Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, and Programming Concepts
• Database Programming Concepts
