Quality Assurance Engineer

We have positions for Quality Assurance Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining test strategies/procedures.
- Responsible for thoroughly testing the product through all phases of the development cycleInteraction with system developers, end users, and all other groups involved in project development, testing, or test planning.
- Performing functional and regression testing on web and Desktop applications, both manual and automated.Performing test activities.
- Recording results in a defect tracking tool and actively facilitating Change Control.
- Responsible for writing Test Plan, Test Cases, test report and Test scripts.
- Asses product quality at various stages of the SDLC and test and approve the final product as specified in the test plan, test cases and acceptance criterion.
- Implement quality assurance plan, procedures and standards for various stages of the SDLC
Skills Required
- Sound Knowledge of client/server, .NET and web technologies
- Sound knowledge of SQA Activities and Automation tools.
- RDBMS concept.
- Good Technical Documentation Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with good Verbal and writing skills.
- Familiarity with quality methodologies such as: CMM, ISO.
- Detailed understanding of the entire SDLC.
- Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.
- Experience in using configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, debugging tools, and testing tools. At least 2 yrs experience required
