A textile company in Lahore is looking for full time Network Administrator, with atleast two years of experience.

Job Description
Administer and troubleshoot the full suite of Windows 2000/2003 Server products, including but not limited to Exchange Server 2003, SQL Server 2000/2005, VPN, RAS Servers, IIS Server, Trend Micro Suit and ISA Server 2000/2004. Server, desktop hardware, software installation and troubleshooting Ensure strong security in place at all times and inherent in all systems from the ground up support network infrastructure equipment such as switches, routers, DNS and DHCP servers provide software and hardware helpdesk support for all internal and remote end users Maintain and enhance the automated build process create and update system support documents and documents related to ISO staging and testing of production servers.

Requirements

• Masters/Bachelor`s degree in related field
• Microsoft Certification would be an asset
• at least two year
• experience with Windows 2000/2003, XP, Microsoft applications and MS Exchange 2003
• working knowledge of network topologies, network protocols (TCP/IP) and switches
• excellent written and verbal communication skills
• must have strong organizational skills

• For Microsoft Platform: In-depth Knowledge and fluent coding abilities in IIS, HTML, DHMTL, XML/XSL, JavaScript/ VBScript, ASP/ ASP.NET, VB.NET, VB, VC++
• For Open Source Platform: In-depth Knowledge and fluent coding abilities in PHP, MySql, Apache & LINUX (any flavor) system administration
• Working knowledge of database design and writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and DTS packages in MS SQL Server 2000 is essential.
• Experience with MS SQL Server 2005 will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of SDLC, OOPS, and structured methodologies is required

System and Database Administrators:

• Experience as DBA with Microsoft SQL Server 2000.
• Experience with MS SQL Server 2005 is added advantage.
• Excellent understanding of SQL Server architecture, administration, T-SQL, query plans and security
• Knowledge of SQL queries, stored procedures and DTS packages is required.
• Must be familiar with common tools like perfmon, poolmon etc.used to monitor server performance.

Project Coordinators:

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering or a minimum of BA/BS and 4 years in an IT-related field
• 2+ years working experience of software engineering
• 2+ years of technical project coordination or management experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels
• Demonstrated skills in requirements gathering, resource organization, project/task coordination and schedule development
• Good Knowledge in project management discipline and techniques
