Senior Software Engineer

ITSec (Pvt.) Limited urgently requires ‘Senior Software Engineer‘ for its Karachi office. This position involves:
- Participating in all phases of System Development Life Cycle
- Understanding business requirements and functional specifications and translating them to technical solutions
- Participating in design process and delivering design specifications
- Developing solutions according to design specifications
Skills Required
The ideal candidate must have minimum four years of experience in developing applications within .Net Framework using VB.Net / ASP.Net with strong DB skills.
- Experience with leveraging Microsoft tools including IIS, Visual Basic (VB, VBA, VB Script), MTS and COM, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, XML, XSL, HTTP
- Experience in MS Server T-SQL. Must know how to create stored procedures, triggers and performance tuning.
- Past experience and a current commitment to using engineering best practices in the development process.
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work well in a team environment
- Developer/Analyst developing multi-tier web and/or windows applications in financial industry
- Must have clear understanding of client-server applications
- Must have strong background in object oriented analysis and design
- Must have analyzed, designed, developed and unit tested multi-tier client server applications
- Exposed to full SDLC process
- Must have application deployment & maintenance experience
- Candidates have experience of Infragistics controls will have added advantage
