Senior SQA Engineer

NetSol Technologies is a US based and NASDAQ listed company having offices in Australia, UK, USA and Pakistan. We have immediate openings for experienced IT professionals. Positions are permanent based at our SEI-CMMI Level 5 software development facility in Lahore. We are looking for talented individual for Sr. Software Quality Assurance position. Details are:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing, performing and monitoring QA activities on a project as project lead who is reporting to a team lead.
- Performing QA and test planning for a project.
- Execution and tracking of plans
- Design and development of test cases
- Test case execution.
- Performing reviews of work products like RS, FS, design, user documentation etc.
- Performing internal quality audits.
- Preparing and sharing reports with other stake holders.
- Working closely with Dev Team, Team Lead and QA Manager
EXPERIENCE:
- 2 - 4 years of experience of managing and performing software quality assurance and testing activities.
- People having working experience in a process oriented environment will be preferred.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILL & ABILITY:
- Understanding of quality assurance and testing life cycle
- Knowledge of QA best practices
- Exposure to reviews and audits
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies.
- Ability to devise appropriate test strategy and performing test planning
- Execution and tracking of plans
- Ability to design and develop tests
- Ability to document, analyze and communicate test results
- Ability to work closely with Dev Team, Team Lead and QA Manager
- Good understanding of quality models including ISO and CMMI
- Should have good oral and written communication skills.
- Good team management skills
