We are interested in filling the position of a Concept Artist with excellent illustration skills and 2D/3D Computer Graphics experience. This person will be responsible for character development, pixel art, storyboarding, splash screens, backgrounds and other artwork related to mobile games. The ideal candidates will meet the following criteria:

Job Responsibilities:

• Taking direction from Level Designers, brainstorm, develop and sketch game characters, props, and scenery.
• Translate hand-drawn sketches into 2D and 3D artwork for use in Flash, BREW and J2ME based game.
• Draw mockups and sketches of game controls and UI.
• Assist in branding and marketing campaigns.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Fine Arts, Multimedia or equivalent.
• Excellent drawing and illustration skills and interest in cartoon animation.
• Excellent Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills.
• Experience with storytelling and concept development.
• Ability to visualize perspective and 3D space.
• Good use of line, light and shadows.
• Artistic ability with understanding of visual communication.
• Ability to visually interpret other people’s ideas.

Job Requirements:

• A BCS/BSc/BA from a reputable college or equivalent.
• Passionate and enthusiastic about 2D and 3D video games in a wide variety of genres.
• Experience with Flash CS3 or Flash Professional 8.
• Experience with Flash Lite 2.1, 2.0 or 1.1 preferred.
• Excellent scripting skills in ActionScript.
