Java Programmer - Dubai

Responsibilities:
- Perform computer programming activities mainly in JAVA with Weblogic, DB2 and Crystal Report in both thin and thick client server environment
- Code, test and troubleshoot system programs; perform code changes and enhancements for existing programs; create enhancements designed for specific user needs.
- Troubleshoot existing computer programs; analyze problems; make necessary modifications to systems and
- individual programs as needed
- Prepare a concise system and user documentation Research and analyze computer software, tools;
- evaluate new software for compatibility with existing standards
- Participate in the training of developers as well as users in the design and use of new or modified
- software and procedures
- Perform installations and upgrades of the existing, modified or new programmes and software
- Provides technical support as and when required to the support team from time to time in troubleshooting, installation and use of the software, database or other applications
- Participates in planning, task prioritization of software development roadmap and future development needs
- Provide regular update and feedback to the Team Lead on the progress of the task assigned.
- Coordinate with cross functional teams to understand and facilitate in resolving system issues and problems
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
- Diploma, Degree or equivalent in Computer Science
- Min 1+ years work experience of computer programming
- preferably in J2EE,Java Beans, DB2 and Crystal Enterprise
