Project Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Primarily responsible for planning, organizing, leading and delivering projects efficiently and effectively
- Prepares project plan(s) in coordination with relevant stakeholders and coordinates with requirement providers to prioritize project tasks
- Coordinates with Business Analyst and project team to ensure clear identification, specification and common understanding of project requirements
- Coordinates with Business Analyst, Software Architect and Team Leads for project estimation (time, effort, duration) and for requirements change management
- Interface with customers or other external entities on project matters
- Timely identifies, mitigates and reports project risks to relevant stakeholders
- Carries out resource planning and resource management to ensure timely induction and efficient utilization of project resources
- Maintains a healthy team environment and motivates team members to maintain a high energy and high performance work culture
- Tracks project progress to deliver quality work product on time
- Provides regular status updates on assigned projects to management adding clarity and visibility
- Facilitates in process improvement and establishment of high performance standards
Required Competencies
- BCS or an equivalent degree
- 5+ years experience in Software Engineering with at least 3 year experience as project manager
- Proven leadership and team skills
- Sound knowledge of software engineering methodologies and project management approaches
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to see the big picture with strong business acumen
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Drive for accomplishment in a challenging work context
- Domain knowledge of electronic transaction processing or stored value cards would be an added plus
