SibiSoft Inc. is a provider of next-generation Member Relationship Management software to the hospitality industry in the US. We have received tremendous response to our flagship product, NorthStar Club Management System. As a result, we are expanding our team to maintain our technological leadership position and provide world-class service to our customers. Our Development & Support organization follows best practices in the software industry, uses the latest technologies, and employs high-caliber software professionals.

Sibisoft is looking for a number of positions:

Software Engineer II [2 positions]

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Four-year Computer Science degree from a reputable local or foreign university
  • 2-3 years of solid software development experience on the Java platform and related technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team oriented environment Version Control knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver quality work under stress on time.

TECHNICAL:

  • Analysis, design, coding and unit testing of scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant applications in NT and UNIX environments.
  • Have worked in a highly parallel development environment.
  • Hands-on Object-oriented design methodology and application development in Java and J2EE, including servlets, JSP, Java Beans, EJB, JMS, RMI, JDBC
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Strong knowledge of application servers such as Jakarta Tomcat
  • Fundamentals of NT/UNIX system administration.
  • Strong knowledge of development related basic tools such as CVS, ANT, etc.

COMMUNICATION:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong English Language Skills
  • The ability to articulate design/technical concepts to a variety of audiences including Software engineers, clients and management in US.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

  • US Degree
  • US or foreign experience
  • Internationally respected certifications (Brainbench, Sun, etc.)
  • Prior ERP, CRM software development experience.
  • Hospitality industry domain knowledge
  • Open source development tools and projects
