Skills Required:
- Proficient CAD Modeling using SolidWorks
- Proficient 2D CAD using AutoCAD
- Proficient in 3D assemblies of many modeled components
- Drafting knowledge and capability with ANSI Y14.5M
- Ability to read and interpret Process and Instrument Drawings (P&ID).
- Ability to do what is necessary to meet project deadlines while minimizing costs.
- Ability to create quality, error-free output.
- Proficient with MS Office Products with emphasis on Excel
Skills Preferred:
- Experience modeling/designing piping systems. Need not be filtration-industry specific.
- Process Equipment knowledge including piping systems and associated components.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude towards work
- Flexibility to perform a variety of tasks under varying levels of time constraints given basic guidelines and minimal supervision.
- Good working knowledge of mechanical design, engineering processes and other design skills, such as tolerancing and manufacturing cost implications of design
- Conversant with appropriate drawing standards
- Project management skills
- Experience within an electronics, manufacturing environment
Experience Required:
- Solid Works modeling and assembly experience
- AutoCAD 2D experience
- Knowledge of Manufacturing and/or Fabrication practices
- Experience with ERP / MRP system
- Knowledge of DCR (ECR/ECO) process
Experience Preferred:
- 2-3 years SolidWorks modeling and assembly experience
- Experience with skid-mounted or frame mounted systems
- Piping system or related process industry design experience
- Experience with filtration system design
- Piping system design
- Engineering Technology Degree / Associates Degree / Drafting Certificate
