Senior Software Engineer / Software Engineer
We are looking for ambitious and committed individuals for the position of “Senior Software Engineer” who can work with efficient and skilled development team.
Job Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Participation in all phases of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Well Understanding of gathering functional and non functional requirements of business and implementing them to technical solutions.
- Participation in design process and deliver design specifications.
- Develop solutions according to design specifications.
- Application coding.
- Development using C#/VB, ASP. NET, VB script/JavaScript, AJAX, PHP.
- Development using C#/VB to develop middle tier components.
- Provide production support and maintain existing systems by researching and trouble-shooting any issues/problems.
- Experience of using Oracle, SQL Server, T-SQL and ADO.NET.
- Should understand IIS and have the capability to perform basic web server support.
- Willing to learn new technologies
Qualification Required:
- MCS / BE / M Sc / MS
- Should have 3+ years of related experience in the following areas:
- Developing systems and providing functions with development team
- Requirements gathering techniques.
- Experience in producing project plans
Technical Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft tools including IIS, Visual Basic (VB, VBA, VB Script), MTS and COM, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, XML, XSL, HTTP
- Experience in MS Server T-SQL. Must know how to create stored procedures, triggers and performance tuning
- Past experience and a current commitment to using engineering best practices in the development process
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work well in a team environment
- Developer/Analyst developing multi-tier web and/or windows applications in financial industry
- Must have clear understanding of client-server applications
- Must have strong background in object oriented analysis and design
- Must have analyzed, designed, developed and unit tested multi-tier client server applications
- Exposed to full SDLC process
- Must have application deployment & maintenance experience
