Title: ORACLE DBA – SAP

Experience: 4.00 to 6.00

Mandatory Skills:

  • Overall 4- 5 years of IT experience
  • As Oracle DBA atleast 2 years of experience in SAP Environment (As oracle DBA who has worked in SAP Environment)
  • Able to support SAP Implementation team
  • Remote database support experience
  • Working Experience in US MNC
  • Oracle 9i & 10g , Experience in upgrading from 9i to 10g
  • Database Performance tuning, Code Optimization
  • Knowledge of Grid Control
  • Operating System – HP-UX
  • Shell Scripting


Desired Skills:

  • Certification prefered

Responsibilities:

  • Support SAP Implementation team
  • Oracle 10g Installation, DB Creation , SAP Environment setup
  • Dev, Test , QA and Prod Migrations
  • User Requested Performance Tuning
  • Running DB Scripts to perform various DB Cleaning and Monitoring Operations
  • Database refresh
  • Email responses , status meeting , user meeting
  • The incumbent should be proficient in establishing SAP Oracle Database Environment

Pre-requisites:

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer science or equivalent qualification / University Degree
  • With above 4 years relevant hands on experience in Oracle Administration.
  • Oracle DBA skills principally in the areas :- Oracle 9i, Oracle 10g
