IT System Engineer
Inov8 is an E-Commerce Technology Company that specializes in the efficient (re) engineering of business processes and consequently, the hosting of various E-Commerce functions and solutions. This is achieved by providing its clients a mix of advisory services, the latest E-Business technology, and various electronic distribution mediums.
Against a backdrop of growth, both current and potential, the key purpose of this role is to maintain and develop an IT infrastructure which is globally consistent and supports the needs of a local client base. Located offsite, your internal client base is situated both in a local office environment and dispersed throughout the country. In addition to local responsibilities, the incumbent will be expected to work closely with infrastructure colleagues to develop our overall company infrastructure. The candidates should have:
- At least 3-5 years in an environment using Windows tools for managing DNS, DHCP and WINS.
- At least 3-5 years knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems including Windows 2000/XP/2003 Server and Professional.
- At least 3-5 years knowledge of configuration and maintenance for corporate antivirus packages (e.g. Symantec), including the support of a remote client base.
- At least 3 years working with Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 / Lotus Notes
- Detailed technical knowledge of Windows Active Directory concepts such as permissions, groups, and group policy in a multi-office environment
- Working experience with the development and configuration of corporate communications tools, including Audix systems, Blackberry, Microsoft Mobile and Nokia Intellisynce services is highly preferred.
- A proven ability to troubleshoot in a structured manner, and deliver a support service, including excellent written and verbal communications when required, to a broad and geographically dispersed client base.
