The team in Pakistan will work the night shift from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM to collaborate closely with our team in California . MANAGER, E-COMMERCE DIVISION:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the overall strategic direction and development of Clary’s branch in Pakistan to ensure company’s e-based marketing program is best in class at meeting our US based corporate customer needs, driving the customer experience, and delivering increased traffic/sales.
- Manage a team of web developers, web designers, search engine optimizers and telemarketers.
- Accountable for achieving online sales targets and evolution of CRM strategies
- Primary business accountability for developing, supporting and maintaining the technical infrastructure and architecture of all e-commerce websites
- Lead the planning and management of a half-million dollar annual online advertising budget including: SEO, paid search, natural search, 3rd party ad/email placements and affiliate marketing initiatives
- Provide support and partnership to our US based E-Commerce Sales team to maximize efficiency and profitability through online initiatives
- Lead the daily management of Clary’s continuously increasing web sites portfolio
- Supervise the website design and development team to help guide new content and functionality enhancements, improving the customer experience through product innovations and site enhancements.
- Identify and evangelize customer scenarios, creating strategy around customer experience; prioritize website feature sets and identifies target markets to be addressed by features
- Lead competitive analysis and understanding to ensure our websites are consistently better than the competition in terms of online experience and promotional / merchandising / pricing effectiveness.
- Compile/track performance and interpret the data in order to optimize future efforts.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPEREINCE:
- BS in Computer Science with preferably an advanced degree (either MIS/MS/MBA) from a top class University .
- At least two years best-in-class experience, having: ideally worked at both a consulting company and at a successful E-commerce company. Developed similar web development programs including designing, creating, and executing an e-marketing program
- Strong web design skills , including interface design, branding/messaging, and functional design
- Proven capability to improve organic website visibility in major search engines.
- Experienced in design and implementation of shopping cart application for E-Commerce websites.
- Fluent understanding of current web, email, online marketing, and interactive trends. Knowledgeable of current search engine optimization techniques. Proficient in the use of web reporting to track results of overall web usage, online and offline marketing promotions.
- Proficiency and expert knowledge of osCommerce , PHP, SQL, JavaScript, XHTML, CSS and Dream Weaver.
- Experienced, dynamic executive and influencer that possesses excellent leadership skills with a reputation of building and inspiring a staff of experts and creative professionals
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
