The team in Pakistan will work the night shift from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM to collaborate closely with our team in California . E-COMMERCE WEB DESIGNER:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creatively produce comprehensive visuals to give visitors conceptual and visual information on products and solutions sold on the website.
- Determine the final look and feel of each website.
- Create and execute usable CSS layouts with a specified XHTML framework.
- Update and post content to web sites using established standards, testing procedures and following internal approval processes prior to posting.
- Improve the navigation, user friendliness, bounce rate and sales conversion ratios of existing websites.
- Optimize existing websites to improve their visibility in search engines.
- Utilize osCommerce based Content Management System to migrate and update existing web sites.
- Design and develop front-end web sites and web pages, assist in the redesign and restructuring of old web sites, & create and update web graphic files.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Web Design or Graphic Design from a top class University .
- Candidate must have 2 years of web design and development experience, with a working knowledge of Dream Weaver, Adobe PhotoShop & Illustrator.
- Must be comfortable coding HTML (not just WYSIWYG) and in using CSS. JavaScript, DHTML, FLASH.
- Experience with SQL based Content Management Systems. OsCommerce experience preferred.
- Creative navigation and site design instincts
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
