E-COMMERCE WEB DEVELOPER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Approach projects with a can-do attitude and a realization of complete responsibility to develop a website from scratch including conceptualization and design, content development & management, and database integration.
• Develop professional programming and coding of back end and front end interface using osCommerce, PHP, SQL, JavaScript, XHTML, CSS and DreamWeaver.
• Integrate/maintain database driven E-Commerce sites using osCommerce and develop features like shopping cart solutions, order tracking and interactive search.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing of web sites.
• Execute day-to-day web site updates, including content management, troubleshooting and bug fixes.
• Analyze web usage trends and provide recommendations.
• Keep abreast of web development techniques, standards, and advancements; make recommendations
• Accountable for all aspects of a project from start to finish

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• BS or MS in Computer Science from a top class University.
• At least two years experience and proven web programming
• knowledge using osCommerce and PHP and experience in database development and integration.
• Search engine optimization experience
• Progressive thinker, self-starter with strong organizational and problem solving skills for creating solutions to challenging situations, and have the ability to handle multiple projects
• simultaneously.
• Strong navigation and site design instincts
