Principal Software Engineer
Palmchip Corporation, a Silicon Valley based high tech company, has its design centers in Lahore and Islamabad. Palmchip offers hardware and software products and design and development services to clients worldwide and Pakistan.
Palmchip has openings in its Lahore office for Principal Software Engineers. Principal Software Engineer works with limited supervision and is responsible for the analysis, development and documentation of complex software applications. In addition to actual development responsibilities, he/she will be working as the technical lead, which requires mentoring and providing technical leadership to a development team for successful delivery of quality product. Ideal candidate should have strong programming and analysis skills to deal with complex programming and architectural challenges. He/she should be able to develop and deploy appropriate solutions using judgment within defined practices and procedures. Good Knowledge of Embedded Systems and/or Networking Protocols would be a plus.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Software Development environment.
- Must have done Software development using C/C++ on a Linux OS.
- Ability to manage many tasks simultaneously and to work under press of time constraints.
- Team Player with effective oral and writing skills.
- Prior experience of technical lead / team lead.
