Business Analyst
The Business Analyst will analyze and design the system implementation of business application requirements. As a member of the team, will have the chance to work on unique and innovative solutions on a highly scalable platform. This position is responsible for working on determining high level technical requirements/scope to meet business needs. You will be responsible for documenting the initial business requirements and determining the appropriate technical solution.
Responsibilities:
The analyst will act as the business application systems analyst on projects involving the internal business customers and our engineering (external product development) teams. Analyst will work collaboratively with client and development team to understand business needs, analyze and document system requirements and processes and to implement optimal solution.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions
- Work with the business owners and product managers to determine technical solutions for strategic needs
- Document business requirements using approved methodology (create use case, models, etc)
- Create high level technical solution to meet business needs
- Managing scope of business requirements keeping a focus on project benefits and delivery
- Seek various alternatives to business problems to achieve desired results
- Ensure a strong working knowledge of internal systems and external touch points
- Partner and engage the project delivery team to ensure a strong architecture design and understanding of the business vision, scope and requirements.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED PERFORMING ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ability to manage dates/releases across multiple systems.
- Highly competent in translating business requirements into application specifications.
- Effective negotiation and proven interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience: at least 1 years experience as an analyst/ in moderate to large business systems projects.
- Qualification: at least bachelors.
- Application analysis experience in a multi-tier environment.
- BS degree in Information Systems or equivalent
- Strong oral and written communication skill
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work within a methodology
- Strong ability to understand business needs and transform them into technical requests
