1. Excellent programming and analytical abilities, way above average.
2. Thoroughly understands ASP.NET, Javascript, XML, WebServices, CSS,Template based design.
3. Should have very thorough command on SQL Server and knows Views, Triggers, Procedures, Functions and strong knowledge of relational databases.
4. Should be able to quickly understand existing application and write scripts to port data from different sources.
5. Knows how to design pages using latest trends. (Less use of tables and more use of div’s,spans,css based positioning.)
6. Experience of delivering successful large scale web applications.
7. Understands Browser compatibility issues and knows how to resolve them.
8. Understands web application scalability issues and knows how to solve them.
