Job Description:
Seeking for an ERP specialist having working experience of developing ERP applications with sound technical and business knowledge of any other popular ERP. Work with other developers in the creation and modification of the ERP system. Perform other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis.
Candidate with following knowledge will be preferred:
eCommerce (B2B, B2C), Internet Applications, Supply Chain, MS Dynamics, MS Great Plains , Sage , AccPac, Microsoft Sharepoint
Job Responsibilities:
·Improves business processes and supports critical business strategies by managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of ERP systems.
·Evaluates and recommends changes to current and future ERP system requirements to meet client’s needs.
·Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies.
·Designs new modules to improve system efficiency.
·Customizes and configures workflow to allow the integration of client/server applications.
·Tests ERP layout to ensure the system is meeting corporate needs.
·Reviews, analyzes, and modifies the programming systems including encoding, testing, and debugging to support an organization’s ERP applications and user needs.
·Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
·Design, develop, update, and maintain databases. Tasks will include inputting and updating default pricing, customer-specific pricing, inventory items, and product descriptions.
·Working directly with both business partners and the Applications Development team to marry business needs and business process flows to the appropriate business system.
·Providing efficient processing, effective use of existing technology resources, while continually improving the support architecture and framework of both the business unit and the company systems.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
· Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
· A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
· Seeking a hands on, individual contributor who has ability to grow into a leadership role
· Excellent organization, time management and follow up skills along with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously
· Excellent communication skills including phone, verbal and written, as well as, the ability to understand customer requests and needs and translate them internally
· Strong technical troubleshooting skills and logical problem solving
· Builds and maintains effective working relationships with the business partners at all levels to ensure alignment and coherence between Applications Management and the business functions.
· Evaluates project objectives and scope for feasibility and fit against the business process context.
· Ensures project plans are properly constructed to set appropriate expectations and deliver on commitments with speed and quality.
